By accessing and using HytchU ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

HytchU is a social networking platform that allows users to connect with friends, share content, and communicate through various features including but not limited to:

• User profiles and friend connections
• Real-time messaging and chat functionality
• Content sharing and posting
• Social interactions and engagement features
• Bulletin board and community features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 SMS Verification and Consent

By creating an account with HytchU, you explicitly consent to receive one-time passcodes (OTPs) via SMS for account verification and security purposes. This includes:

• Account verification during registration
• Two-factor authentication (2FA) when enabled
• Password reset and account recovery
• Security alerts and notifications

You acknowledge that message and data rates may apply for SMS messages sent to your mobile number. You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time through your account settings, except for essential security-related messages.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.4 Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms of Service or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post, upload, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service

6.1 SMS Communications

By using HytchU, you expressly consent to receive SMS messages from us for the following purposes:

• Account Verification: One-time passcodes (OTPs) sent to verify your phone number during registration
• Security: Two-factor authentication codes and security alerts
• Account Recovery: Password reset codes and account recovery assistance
• Service Notifications: Important updates about your account or the service

6.2 Consent and Opt-Out

Your consent to receive SMS messages is a condition of using our service. You may opt out of non-essential SMS communications through your account settings, but you cannot opt out of essential security-related messages without deactivating your account.

6.3 Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply for SMS messages sent to your mobile number. These charges are determined by your mobile carrier and are not controlled by HytchU.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8.2 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HytchU be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HytchU and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
